About Webinars

In this virtual classroom, participants can join in a seminar led by Poynter faculty and visiting faculty. This screencast includes live audio and a slideshow presentation in which participants can post questions and respond to poll questions posed by the host.

Your audiences spend more time on social media sites than any other websites. Crafting a smart and well-designed social image to interest them in your work is key to success, but can be difficult to accomplish without a talented designer. Learn how to use Canva to create effective graphics that increase the reach of your message, no design skills necessary.

Hannah Yan Field

Hannah is the Head of Education Partnerships at Canva, a Sydney-based graphic design startup seeking to empower the world to design. She’s passionate about building communities and working with teachers around the world to introduce design and visual literacy into their classrooms. A graduate of Tufts University with a degree in International Relations, she’s worked at startups including Pandora Internet Radio and most recently at Dropbox, where she was helping build out their European operations in Dublin, Ireland.
