About Webinars

In this virtual classroom, participants can join in a seminar led by Poynter faculty and visiting faculty. This screencast includes live audio and a slideshow presentation in which participants can post questions and respond to poll questions posed by the host.

Melody Kramer is a Peabody award-winning digital strategist and the Senior Audience Development Manager for the Wikimedia Foundation. Before that, she worked as an editor for NPR, ran digital operations for Fresh Air with Terry Gross, was a writer and editor at National Geographic Magazine and directed, produced, edited and wrote for NPR's Wait Wait Don't Tell Me. She started her career as a Kroc Fellow at NPR and is a 2006 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. Mel tweets @mkramer and codes in Python.
