In the end, you have to dive into a cave and carve out the elephant.

In this one hour webinar we will explore different ways of getting started, how to come up with several leads, and land on one that works. We will discuss how to get inside your head, and why it’s sometimes better to ignore your notes.

You will learn rhythm and syntax and how important it is to listen to your words. Finally, we will discuss chopping, whittling and sanding your story to hone it to its most basic form – so you can become your own best editor.

What Will I Learn:
  • How to kick-start the writing process so you don’t start with a blank screen
  • How to generate and compare different opening paragraphs
  • How to write in blocks, scenes vs. information
  • How to edit your story and make it sing
Who Should Take this Course:
  • Freelance writers
  • Reporters and storytellers
  • Anyone looking for a story to tell
