Diona Eskew began her higher education studies at IU South Bend where she discovered her passion for communication arts. While working on her undergraduate degree she discovered her desire to teach college communications which led to her pursuit of a master’s degree. While studying at Valparaiso University, she found the Institute for Humane Education which offered graduate courses through the university.
