Lisa Davis
Lisa Davis began teaching at SCU in 2010. She has held staff positions at Village Voice Media publications in Phoenix (New Times) and San Francisco (SF Weekly), and at The Arizona Republic and San Francisco Business Times. Her work also has appeared in Slate online magazine, California Lawyer and various other publications. Davis is the author of The Sins of Brother Curtis: A Story of Betrayal, Conviction and the Mormon Church.She is a recipient of a John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Fellowship, and winner of more than 30 national and local honors, including the George S. Polk Award and Northwestern University’s John Bartlow Martin Award for Public Service Journalism. She also has taught at University of San Francisco, San Francisco State University and the Monterey Institute of International Studies.
