Don't think you have time for those solid pieces of investigative journalism? You're wrong. Though an hour or two of research time is a rare luxury, there are many ways to produce deep stories on a shallow timeframe.

Nancy Amons produces enterprise TV stories on a daily basis and has more than more than 30 years of experience as a TV journalist. She will share the tricks of the trade that she has learned for working quickly to bring a deeper dimension to daily coverage.

What Will I Learn:
  • How to develop investigative techniques for breaking news stories
  • How to dig deeper to produce in-depth second-day stories
  • How to stay organized so story tips and follow-ups don’t fall through the cracks
  • Why you need to create your own “Investigative Hotlinks” resource
  • How to keep your inbox full of fresh new stories
Who Should Take this Course:

Seasoned and new reporters, assignment editors and producers, plus anyone who wants to do investigative stories quickly.
